Singer Mollie O'Brien and guitarist Rich Moore have impeccable folk-bluegrass and singer-songwriter credentials, but their songbag is a really big one, filled with all kinds of Americana from blues to gospel to jazz to Tin Pan Alley, and with material from writers as diverse as Lucinda Williams, Willie Dixon, Harry Nilsson, and Randy Newman. Rich as played with Pete Wernick and Tom Paxton, while Mollie has performed with her brother Tim and with Prairie Home Companion's Hopeful Gospel Quartet. Now that their kids are grown up, Mollie and Rich are able to tour and record together - - "just one voice and one guitar covering the whole range of great America music."
