We are thrilled to announce we have secured what promises to be a wonderful presentation and preparation for your forthcoming visits to the MIA's exhibit "China's Terracotta WARRIORS: The First Emperor's Legacy" http://www.artsmia.org/terracotta-warriors/.
On Tuesday, November 13 at the Theresa Library Center at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN, we will be provided with exceptional details about the then newly opened exhibit from docent and Friend, Carol Burton Gray. Carol joined us several years ago for a program on Art in Bloom with former Friends President Katie Searle, and we are delighted that she is able to return to share her knowledge and insights with us, again. I believe Carol is no stranger to the Warriors, having visited them in China, herself. Now, after extensive, additional docent training with Curator of Chinese Art, Dr. Liu Yang, she will share their story with us.
Please join us for an evening of Chinese cuisine and what is sure to be an informative and MIA visit inspiring program.
