    Bringing the heat, and sweating it out with some soulful music in January and February. The name says it all, but doesn't tell the whole story. The Fabulous Armadillos will be playing songs with "SOUL", long associated with artists with their roots is gospel music like Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, The Temptations and others. But, in addition to those great artists, there are many other artists that have passion in their vocals, and sing from the heart and are often termed "BLUE-EYED SOUL". Artists like Bob Seger, The Rascals, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, Hall and Oates, Boz Scaggs, The Righteous Brothers, Tom Jones, Dusty Springfield and more. Even some of today's current artists like Amy Winehouse, Adele, Duffy and Joss Stone are considered "MODERN SOUL". We will be playing with a full horn section and bringing together the funk and soul of Motown, with the heart and grit of Memphis, blue-eyed soul and even the new generation of soul singers all in one soul powerful show! Have mercy!
