    You Are Invited! Arts Advocacy Day, March 7, 2013
    The CMAB invites you to join us for MN Arts Advocacy Day on March 7, 2013 and will provide a chartered bus and box lunch. Arts Advocacy Day is the best arts networking event of the year. This is the only time that arts lovers of all kinds gather together in one place to talk about the arts, make new friends, and educate legislators about the importance of the arts to Minnesota. Through this big day, we show what a strong, vital arts community we have in Minnesota. Arts Advocacy Day is a free event. Register for Advocacy Day Online At:

    Ride the bus with other local Arts Advocates!
    The bus will pick participants up in the parking lot at the east side St Cloud Cashwise at 6:30 am, at the Foley High School at 6:50 am, or the Monticello Cub at 7:30 am. For a suggested donation of only $10, you can leave the driving and parking fees to us, a box lunch will be provided, and you will be returned to your vehicle between 3pm and 3:45pm. You can't beat that!

        7:30 a.m. - Meet at the Minnesota History Center, St Paul

        8:00 a.m. - Advocacy Class for New Attendees. Registration & Coffee (If not attending class)

        8:30 a.m. - Advocacy Seminar Join your team: You and your team will be led by an experienced advocate who has participated in past Advocacy Days and knows what to do. Your team will visit a series of legislators during the course of the day, giving you plenty of time to get to know your teammates and the issues you are discussing.

        9:30 a.m. - Walk/ride to Capitol

        9:30-1:00 p.m. - Legislator Appointments
