    Five & Dime Series

The Canadian duo TWIN (guitarist David Fort and violinist Brooklyn Samson) paddles in for an evening of music--literally: they're traveling by canoe as part of their current (pun intended) River ArmadaTour. Previous ones included the Assiniboine, Sacramento and Los Angeles Rivers, and this is their second run down the Mississippi, having started up around Bemidji a week earlier.

"The Canadian hypno-folk act and friends are changing music history with their River Armada Concert Series taking themselves, others, all their gear and instruments down the Sacramento River by canoe; sharing song, stories and fun everywhere they go"--Nan Hargis, Oakland Tribune

Five & Dime shows are a bit more casual than the Main Series concerts: Each performance is $5 or $10 at the door, with no advance sales or reserved seating. Regular restaurant service plus music, starting at 7:30.
