Tapestry will be joined by percussionist Takaaki Masuko in a program of medieval and contemporary works – we expect the recently renovated Cathedral to be the perfect space for this special program. The program will include songs by Hildegard von Bingen and selections from The Nine Order of the Angels, and a recently-written staged chamber opera based on a Tibetan folk tale with a message about compassion, making use of Tibetan singing bowls and other percussion.
