    Main Series
Eliza Gilkyson's connections to the singer-songwriter tradition are broad and deep. Her father Terry was a performer and prolific composer--"Green Fields" and "Fast Freight," among many others. Eliza's songs have been covered by a who's-who of Americana and folk acts, including Joan Baez, Tom Rush and Rosanne Cash. She has shared the stage or recorded with John Gorka, Lucy Kaplansky, Ray Bonneville, Nina Gerber, Slaide Cleaves, and Cindy Cashdollar, among others. She has won Folk Alliance awards for Best Artist, Best Songwriter and Record of the Year, received two Grammy nominations (the latest for her newest CD, "The Nocturne Diaries"), and is an Austin Music Hall of Fame inductee. Her sets can draw on four decades' worth of her own songs plus those of that broad and deep tradition.
