Join internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Phil Lancaster as he presents this program on a little-known era of American history--the story of the 250,000 orphans and unwanted children who were put on trains in New York between 1854 and 1929 and sent all over the United States to be given away. Weaving together photos, stories, and songs, as well as inviting attendees to share their own stories, this presentation is memorable and fascinating.
