Philippe Faucon's film, "Fatima," touches on many social injustices in modern French society in an impactful way, gaining multiple acclaimed film awards in France. "Fatima" is the story of an Algerian woman who immigrates to France. She works tirelessly so that her daughters can have a better life until an accident at work causes Fatima to learn she needs to care for herself too.
