Nearly half a century ago, Hair shocked the nation by putting sex, drugs, rock music, and political protest on the Broadway stage. Part ritual, part concert; this "American Tribal Love-Rock Musical" was an historical watershed and remains both a testament to the power of youth and a reminder of the cultural work that is still to be done.
