Ray Bonneville

Ray Bonneville checks an interesting range of boxes: born in Quebec, raised in the States, currently living in Texas, a bluesman with a big dash of New Orleans. In between Quebec and Austin he has been a Marine, a taxi driver, a flight instructor, a bush pilot, and of course a peripatetic bluesman. He is a winner of Canada’s Juno Award for Best Blues Album, the International Folk Alliance’s 2009 Song of the Year Award, and the 2012 Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge.
