Barefoot in the Park Dinner Theatre

"Barefoot in the Park" is a three act comedy that centers around two newlyweds Paul and Corie Bratter. The play opens with Corie looking around what is their first apartment. With no heat, no bath tub, a range that doesn’t work and a huge hole in the skylight, this sixth floor, walkup apartment is a ramshackle. Landscapes Of Lindbergh

Artist John Heckman, who will teach en plein air (En plein air is a French expression which means "in the open air", and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors) using the land surrounding Lindbergh State Park, Lindbergh History Center and the Weyerhaueser Museum on the west side of Little Falls. The students will work primarily in pastels, charcoal and drawing utensils.

Come to the Great River Arts and make a steamroller print! The ArtOrg Thousand Print Summer 2013 uses a small steamroller to make prints for both kids and adults. You check in, and get your materials, then sit down under the tent to cut up stuff to make your printing block. You give it to us, and we roll your block up with ink. Then, your inky block gets put on the runway with a piece of paper on top. We start up the steamroller and roll over it, and peel back the paper to reveal a wonderful...

Award winning watercolorist, Dan Mondloch, which will focus on capturing the essence of historic downtown Little Falls, using ink and watercolor wash as the primary medium. Each student will explore the city for a preferred vantage point, and sketch, then finishing the piece back at the Great River Art Center.

Interiors of Lindbergh (Linden Hill)

Bahaman artist, Willicey Tynes will focus on the interior spaces within the historic Musser Mansion, on the Mississippi. This workshop will run Friday – Sunday, and the participants will stay the evenings at the home. This would be a wonderful opportunity not only to learn from the talented Mr. Tynes, but also to connect with other artists. The artists will work in acrylic and oils, and the subjects will be found in the interesting historical rooms of the mansion.
