Granite City Folk Society

Granite City Folk Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing local, regional, national and international concert folk music to St. Cloud. Founded in 1998, our series is a continuation of the Wednesday Night Coffeehouse Series that ran from 1982-1997 at BoDiddley’s Deli in St. Joseph.

    David Mallet Bo Diddley's Pub & Deli David Mallet Presented by Granite City Folk Society at Bo Diddley's Pub & Deli May 29, 2013 Singer-songwriter David Mallett is one of America's true original troubadours.     Dar Williams Paramount Theatre Dar Williams Presented by Granite City Folk Society at Paramount Theatre August 21, 2013 Described by The New Yorker as “one of America’s very best singer-songwriters.” Dar Williams (Dorothy Snowden Williams) has been a folk performer for almost 25 years. She has appeared with such folk greats as Mary Chapin Carpenter, Ani DeFranco and Joan Baez. The Granite City Folk Society is proud to be hosting this concert at the Paramount – Dar’s first trip to St. Cloud in almost 10 years.
