Guitarist Reynold Philipsek is a prolific composer with a very wide range of styles and influences: gypsy, bebop, and straight-ahead jazz; the Great American Songbook; Nuevo Tango; 20th century classical; even a dash of rock. Matt Senjem is a wide-spectrum jazz bassist (he was here with the Mill City Hot Club a few weeks back) who often plays with Reynold in band settings as well as at duo gigs like tonight’s.
