African Drumming Camp

Have you ever wanted to play an African drum? This camp is an excellent opportunity for beginners to try percussion. Students will learn traditional West African percussion music on authentic African instruments such as djembes, dundun, kpanlogo drums, xylophones, bells, shakers and more. In addition, students will learn about the art and cultures of West Africa through listening to selections of African music, playing African children’s music games, and learning songs in African languages. Ages 7 to 12 years old.
