African Drumming at Great River Regional Library with Fred Yiran Arts
As part of the Fred Yiran African Arts Day events, we have African Storytelling on Saturday, March 11th at the Great River Regional Library from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Free and open to the public, narrated by Boys and Girls Club children.

This is an African Storytelling event narrated by three Boys and Girls Clubs. They have chosen the following stories:
The Boy Who Wanted the Moon – Congo story told by the South Side Boys and Girls Club
Natiki – South African story told by the East Side Boys and Girls Club
