Arts Entrepreneurship Internship Application

The management at Art in Motion is seeking an Arts Entrepreneurship Intern for the summer of 2022 starting mid-May And completing in Mid August. Our ideal intern is an individual who is passionate and motivated about the arts and community engagement. This intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of arts-related practices from exhibition design the gallery, hosting and planning music events, art workshops, marketing, and inherent networking and community engagement. The ideal candidate would have a solid foundation in social media marketing through Facebook and Instagram and is familiar with working in google drive. Strong attention to detail is a requirement for this position. The ideal intern is excited about growing the mission of Art in Motion and sees the value in hands-on experience in a small art-focused business.
This is a paid internship. Interns can work up to 30 hours a week and receive a maximum $1500 stipend each month. Since the majority of our arts programs occur on the weekends, Interns are required to work 4 weekend days a month. Food and beverage will be provided during the shift.
Timeline: this application closes March 5th 2022. Interviews begin March 7th. The candidate will be selected by March 19th and the Internship begins Mid May. The internship will end in August or decrease in hours for the months of September and October
