Breakfast Club - Hobos of the Great Depression

Connie Lounsbury a local author of A Hobo’s Wish, Thrift Shoes, and Fatal Flaws speaks about hobos during the Great Depression.

How did people survive when hundreds of thousands of people were unemployed with no jobs available? How did a 14-year-old boy survive when his father told him to leave home because they couldn’t afford to feed him anymore?  This was real life in the 1930s.  What can we learn from that time in our history?
