Exploring the Poetry of Wendell Berry & Writing Your Own

Wendell Berry, the Kentuckian poet, farmer, novelist, and essayist, has been exploring and affirming in his work for more than a half-century the necessity of responsible community membership. All of his writing emphasizes the centrality of the imagination in how we see the world and act on it. In this four-session workshop series, participants will become familiar with Berry’s poetry and have opportunities to use it as a model for their own creative endeavors. No writing experience necessary, just a desire to read some fine poetry, and to express yourself imaginatively. Pre-register by July 2.
