Janet Olney has been creating organic and eclectic weavings since 1984. She uses many different fibers in her projects including sea grass, yarn and her preferred choice of reed. She finds it “simply magical” when she completes her baskets out of just a simple pile of reeds. Intentional and deliberate, her baskets retain a feeling of freedom, randomness, and honesty while maintaining control over her materials.
