Learn about the history and traditions of the quilts made during the westward expansion that followed the Civil War. Presenter Corinne Lanz will also touch on the lives of influential women of the period. Antique and reproduction quilt fabrics will be displayed and discussed, and participants will have an opportunity to hand stitch a quilt block reminiscent of the era. An arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Fund program co-sponsored by the Howard Lake Friends of the Library. For teens and adults.
