Monoprinting: Print, Collage, Paste & Paint!

Two full days immersed in mixed media mono printing, collage and acrylic painting on canvas. You’ll be exploring effects using a gelatin printing plate on a variety of papers. From there you’ll create an underpainting on canvas with an idea of your own personal subject matter in mind.  On the second day of the workshop you’ll collage on the underpainted canvas with your printed papers, combine acrylic paint and several other mixed media mediums and tools all in an effort to express that personal idea you had on day one of the workshop! Artist will get awesome ideas for holiday gifts and cards too. Come with an experimental attitude, play with paint, explore color, texture and amaze yourself with what you really can create! Doors of your mind will open and you may never be the same again!
