Mosaic Forms 101: Concrete Mosaic Sculpture (Fall)

Wednesdays, October 1-22, 6-8:30pm with Laura Ruprecht

Create a beautiful mosaic sculpture for your garden or home using techniques that made the mosaic sculpture “Tied to the River” across the street from the Paramount. Participants will be making a multi-layered metal form in which you will learn how to cut and shape metal lath and also learn how to mix and apply cement. Once the base of the sculpture is cured, students will also learn how to cut and break glass to be used for mosaic.
Experience Level: Beginner, no prior experience required
