Oils 151: Monochromatic Portrait Painting

Learn how to paint a monochrome oil portrait using a palette limited to two colors with Suzann Beck! This workshop will help build your portraiture skills by teaching you how to “draw” with the brush, see and paint values correctly, and add finishing touches that bring life to your painting. In the morning session Suzann will explain and demonstrate the monochromatic technique, while the afternoon session features hands-on practice painting from a live model and one-on-one guidance to a classical-style portrait following principles of the old European masters.
