Patrick Brice Filmmaker Visit & Masterclass

Creep 2 is a fun hybrid of found footage horror, thriller, and comedy, directed by Patrick Brice and written by Brice and Mark Duplass. It stars two actors/writers/directors: Mark Duplass and Desiree Akhavan. Creep 2 received a 71% Audience Score and 100% Critics Score on Rotten Tomatoes. It also won Best Film at the 2017 Sitges Film Festival, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious festivals for fantasy and horror films.

Synopsis: Desiree Akhavan stars as Sara, a video artist whose primary focus is creating intimacy with lonely men. After finding an ad online for “video work,” she thinks she may have found the subject of her dreams. She drives to a remote house in the forest and meets a man claiming to be a serial killer (Mark Duplass, reprising his role from Creep). Unable to resist the chance to create a truly shocking piece of art, she agrees to spend the day with him. However, as the day goes on she discovers she may have dug herself into a hole she can’t escape.

The screening followed by a Q&A will be on Tuesday, Feb. 19th and a Masterclass with Patrick Brice will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20th. Both the film and Masterclass are free admission.
