Picturing Writing: Fostering Literacy Through Art

During the 2-day immersion into the Picturing Writing process, teachers will learn how they can combine creativity, rigor and deep thinking required by the ELA Common Core in a progression of art-infused, literature-based integrated units of study. 16 CEU Hours, The Power of PIctures: Creating Pathways to Literacy Through Art book/instructional DVD by Beth Olshansky as well as comprehensive teacher’s manuals and a packet of poetry masters.
