Pressing On: The Poster Workshop & Film Screening

ONE TICKET / TWO EVENTS
Please join us for this two part series about the tradition of Letterpress Printing.
We’re excited to kick-off the fall with a two part letterpress event. We’re calling all students, professionals, printers, designers, artists, and honestly, anyone that appreciates the history of art and this specialty medium.

EVENT 1 POSTER MAKING PARTY!
Part one of this two part series will be a special letterpress printing party at Bruno Press in St. Joseph, MN. Everyone is invited to come out and see how posters are printed, with type and carved blocks with really old presses. Then we will be printing the very posters that will be advertising our screening event. People will be encouraged to take posters to hang up around town to promote the film as well as to take one to keep for yourself!

EVENT 2 PRESSING ON FILM SCREENING
Part two of the event will be the actual screening of Pressing On: A Letterpress Film at Marcus Theatre. We are super excited to be able to watch the film in the comfort of a big comfy theatre. Come at 11:30 for some complimentary pizza and to socialize, concessions will also be open!
