Guitarist Reynold Philipsek usually appears here with a full band, but tonight he’s playing as a duo with bassist extrodordinaire Matt Senjem. This stripped-down setting will showcase the range of Reynold’s composition styles and influences: gypsy, bebop, and straight-ahead jazz; the Great American Songbook; Nuevo Tango; 20th century classical; even a dash of rock. And if we’re lucky, he’ll sing a few songs for us.
