Visit the Museum and have a craft beer while listening to the interesting history of Victorian mourning.
During the Victorian Age, Americans were far more acquainted with death than we are today. It was also a time filled with strict rules and confining etiquette, especially for women. Join us as we discuss the fascinating rituals involved with mourning a loved one during the Victorian age, from postmortem photography to hair art. Local craft beer from Pantown Brewing will be available for purchase at the museum.
