On May 15, 1897, rural Howard Lake residents William and Lydia Boxell were murdered with an axe while they slept. Minnesota writer and amateur historian, Chris Marcotte, shares the ins and outs of her search for the truth in this unsolved case, and explores the long lasting effects it has had on family members past and present. She is writing a book with the support and input of the Boxell descendants, and copies of the blog she has maintained may be available. For adults, no preregistration
