The intent of this exhibit is to encourage you to see all that nature can bestow—beauty, diversion, inspiration, stillness—and more—when we open our eyes.

BIOGRAPHY
Barb Kellogg, of Avon, Minnesota, is a photographic artist specializing in nature. She creates elegant and timeless images. She is not a photography purist — her style ranges from augmented imagery created about how she felt, to a more literal style capturing what she saw. While her primary photographic medium is digital, she is expanding into incorporating film into her creative process.
Barb is self taught through online education, books, workshops, help from fellow photographers, and ongoing practice.
She has been part of several juried group exhibits in Minnesota: Arts in Harmony (2015, 2016, and 2017), including being selected for their Traveling Exhibit, “Arts North”, at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis (2017); Essential Art in St. Cloud (2015 and 2017); and the Paramount Juried Art Exhibit in St. Cloud (2016). Her photograph Pelicans on a Lake received an honorable mention from juror Stan Tekiela in 2015 at the Elk River Arts Alliance Photography exhibit. Barb has had several solo art events in the St. Cloud area. She also serves as a board member for Avon Area Arts, a local non-proft arts organization in Avon, Minnesota.
Current photography projects include increasing her knowledge of photographing with flm, an exploration of mental health, and developing a book of her photographs and prose.
