Professional musicians, adult amateurs and students rehearse weekly and are joined by elementary student musicians for two concerts and choir, handbell and other instrumental groups for at least one other concert each season. Established in 1979 as a non-profit arts organization, the Central Minnesota Arts Board increases access to the arts by providing grant opportunities and services throughout Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright counties as one of eleven Regional Arts Councils in Minnesota. We fund grant proposals and provide professional development services to arts and community organizations, schools, government units and individuals. We also strive to enhance the appreciation of the positive and essential economic and social roles the arts play in our lives.

Great River Chorale

Great River Chorale is an auditioned adult community choir based in Saint Cloud that draws its members from communities across Central Minnesota. Members range in age from 25 to 75 and share a passion for singing and performing choral music at the highest artistic level. Great River Chorale presents an annual concert series and is the principal choral partner of the Saint Cloud Symphony Orchestra. The choir has been selected four times (2019, ‘17, ‘15, ‘13) for inclusion on Classical Minnesota Public Radio’s Taste of the Holidays CD showcasing “the best of Minnesota’s regional ensembles,” and has been featured on Classical MPR’s Regional Spotlight. Great River Chorale is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization that was founded in 2001.

Great River Resonance is a 5+ octave bell choir comprised of ringers from the greater St. Cloud area. We perform 1-2 concerts a year, offer small group ensembles for events, educational events for local ringers, and customized learning sessions for individual choirs. Our bells and chimes are a combination of Schulmerich and Malmark. We get the best of both worlds! Great River Resonance is a 501(c)3 organization, part of Handbell Musicians of America, and we proudly represent Area 7 (MN, WI, ND, and SD).

Minnesota Association of Community Theatres

The Minnesota Association of Community Theatres is a statewide volunteer run organization which holds meetings, workshops, festivals and other events throughout the state of Minnesota. We operate on a two year cycle. In the even numbered years we put on FAST Fest, a non-adjudicated festival of 20 minute plays. In odd numbered years we produce MACT Fest, which is an adjudicated festival of 60 minute plays which is part of the AACTFest cycle. Along with the performances at MACT Fest, there are workshops and networking events. We provide our member theatres with free postings of their performances, auditions and other events on our website. They may also list items they have for sale or rent and job postings. We provide our individual members with free postings offering their services as directors, choreographers, designers and any other positions that may be useful to community theatres. We also provide free theatrical performance listings for Minnesota’s K-12 schools. Work with us! MACT is a volunteer run organization. We’re always looking for great people to work with us. Minnesota Center Chorale

Minnesota Center Chorale (MCC) is a regional community chorus that includes professional and amateur singers. Founded by Phil Welter in 1973, MCC today performs under the leadership of our artistic director & conductor Nicole Mattfeld. Recent collaborations have included the St. Cloud Municipal Band, Ring of Kerry, and Land of Lakes Choirboys from Elk River. Repertoire ranges from traditional choral music to ethnic/folk music and newly composed works. MCC continues to commission new choral works, created by regional composers, to be performed at its concerts.

Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society

Website: www.munsingerclemens.com Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society (MCBS) encourages people to visit Munsinger Clemens Gardens. They present six free “Music in the Gardens” concerts on Sunday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. in June, July and August. “Art Fair in the Gardens” is held annually on the third Thursday in July. Artwork for sale, live music and food and beverages available all day. There is an all-year photo contest for photos taken in the Gardens. MCBS also supports the Gardens with an annual gift for equipment purchases needed for the maintenance of the Gardens. Memberships are available for as little as $50 per year. Benefits of membership include a quarterly newsletter, a 15% discount at the gift shop and the American Horticulture Society Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP). A MCBS membership card will give you reduced admission at many public gardens in the US and Canada.
