Adam Hammer at 5pm
Known for his alternative folk style, aggressive fingerpicking and poetic storytelling, Adam Hammer is a Central Minnesota music scene regular with an extensive songwriting and performing career including his most recent project “Simple Songs.” The musical melting pot that makes up Hammer’s influences is what drives his music “tattooed folk.” Raised on ‘60s folk revival songs and classic country, and having performed in punk, rock and alternative bands, his inspiration comes from a broad spectrum. From boot stompin’ rockabilly acoustic and luscious fingerpicked originals to Jim Croce, Leonard Cohen, The Lumineers, Tom Waits and The Replacements, you’re in for a great set.
