Percussionist, composer, and freelance musician Brad Dutz moved to Los Angeles in 1984 where he started a freelance career that now spans nine solo CDs; over 250 credits on other CDs including Alanis Morrisette, KISS, Willie Nelson, Tribal Tech, Lee Ann Rhimes, and Rickie Lee Jones, among others; and films and TV shows including King of the Hill, Family Guy, Enterprise, Firefly, The Bourne Legacy, Transformers, Cowboys and Aliens, Hidalgo, Anchorman, Rush Hour, Battleship, and many others. Brad is a multi-instrumentalist who can play congas, berimbau, bata, bodhran, bones, pandeiro, djembe, table, kanjira, doumbec ,and riq, among others.
Traveling to colleges and universities across the nation, Brad has joined forces with drum set artist/percussionist Chris Wabich to produce a collection of duos for percussion. Their music is diverse, influenced by many cultures, and highly unique. The Ruth Gant Recital Hall provides an intimate setting for the concert.
