Ann and Charlie Heymann recreate some of the oldest music from the Irish tradition: "from ancient chant, ceol mor and planxties to dance music, ballads, humor and improvisation." At the center of all this is Ann’s Gaelic harp, the clairseach, to which the duo adds vocals, flutes, cittern, guitar, concertina, bonds, and bodhran. It’s time travel without a TARDIS, and with better tunes.
