Travel back in time to the 1970s to help the Stearns History Museum solve “The Case of the Missing Disco Ball” at a special family event during the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 21 2019.
Families can join the adventure and use their noggins to help the Museum staff solve a history mystery from the 1970s. Where did the disco ball go? Children, ages 6 and older, will become History Detectives, following the clues and lending their expertise to help find the missing disco ball. There will be two sessions for the history sleuths: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Younger children are encouraged to try the Museum’s winter-themed scavenger hunt. Families also can take a stroll through Heritage Park and play outdoor Museum Bingo! Ask for a discovery sheet at the front desk.
Look for another exciting History Mystery on Presidents’ Day, February 18, 2019.
The program is included in the price of admission. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children with a family cap at $17. The Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019.
