Presented by Saint Cloud State University School of the Arts and St. Cloud State University Music Department at SCSU Performing Arts Center- Ruth Gant Recital Hall

Sprig of That will perform a concert at 7:30pm in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall on Wednesday, January 30th. In addition to the concert, there will be a Tabla Clinic at 4pm, also in the Recital Hall, prior to the performance. At 9pm there will be a post-concert discussion on the entrepreneurial practice of freelance musicians.

Sprig of That combines folky, vibrant Americana, fiddle tunes, original compositions, and rhythmic textures to form a surprisingly natural acoustic blend. Members are Isabel Dammann on violin, Ilan Blanck on guitar, and Krissy Bergmark on tabla.

Sprig of That played a summer residency at Black Dog Cafe, as well as shows at Good Arts Collective and for St. Paul’s Pop-Ups at Central Station. The band is set to release their first EP in February 0f 2019, as well as a series of music videos.

All activities are free and open to the public. Funding provided by the David Swenson Foundation at St. Cloud State University.
