I majored in painting and art history at Colby College in Maine and have also studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. I received a Master of Arts in art history from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. For ten years I worked as a curator, specializing in American art. I have studied with numerous painters, including Ian de Souza, Andrew Peters, and Bela Petheo.
