In its 18th year, this award-winning concert engages participants in a process of discovery, reflection, community service, and song.
TheĀ Her Story, Her Song concert features SCSU Women’s Choir, Cantabile Girls’ Concert Choir and Choristers, and faculty members at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. This year’s community partner is Feeding Area Children Together (FACT). FACT reduces childhood hunger in Central Minnesota through a weekend food program called FACT Packs.
FACT has served more than 20,000 meals to students and families at Discovery Elementary, Madison Elementary, and North Junior High. Its goal for the 2018-19 school year is to expand to Lincoln Elementary School and serve 50,000 meals.
