We wrap up the summer with a crowd favorite – The West Metro Big Band. The sounds and the memories of the big band era return as the band prides itself in faithfully recreating the music of the likes of Glenn Miller and Count Basie while also offering sounds of more contemporary big bands such as Jools Holland and Brian Setzer.

The concerts are sponsored by the General Federated Women’s Club of Delano, Delano Community Education, and the City of Delano. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
