SCAG - Adventures and Tales of Two Norwegian Women and Book Creation Process

She will share a story of two young women who journey to northwestern North Dakota to homestead in 1900. Neely will explain the process of taking her book through the editing process, rewrites, layout, design, and approval process. Her book was published by Beaver’s Pond Press in late summer, 2018 and won first place in the Independent Book Publisher’s Association’s contest in April 2019. She will read some segments from the book, which portrays the adventures and challenges of two women and their Norwegian homesteading community.
