Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic dinner and enjoy the
music of Buddy King and Jerry Akubue during a Kids Concert from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday,
August 20, at the Stearns History Museum.
King and Akubue, local musicians and drummers, will perform children’s favorites as well as
some original pieces. The concert will be interactive with movement and fun. Guests will have
an opportunity to volunteer and learn drumming techniques.
The program is free and a cooperative venture between the Museum and the Great River
Children’s Museum.
