The Keepers of the Sacred Dance is a collection of art quilts depicting images of harmony, dance, and nature. The central figures of the collection is Women portrayed as the bearers of life.
Thirty years ago, I started an art journey. Starting with clay and fibers, then to illustration and painting, I have followed a path of discovery and learning. I mostly enjoy teaching others all I have learned and I consider myself a perpetual student of the arts. I believe art is healing, meditative, and communicates what is in ones soul. As with all the pieces I create, great thought is put into my choices of color, imagery, and even the choice of thread. It is all intentional. I hope to continue learning new techniques and evolve as an artist. Most of my inspiration comes from nature, patterns and forms, and I spend a lot of time studying the colors of insects, leaves, and animals. I hope you find meaning in my exhibit and see who I am through my creations.
