The Minnesota Center Chorale is excited to announce our 2019-2020 season:
Creation: Uniting in Harmony. In our 47th season, we present music that overcomes differences to unite us in peace, hope, and love. We are excited to explore music’s power to change our world!
In this concert, we explore the belief in a Higher Power from various perspectives. Composers range from Jeffrey Ames and Johann Sebastian Bach through Rosephanye Powell and Gwyneth Walker, and we’ll range the globe from South Africa to northern Europe, around to Brazil, Haiti, and continental North America.
With Biblical texts in English and Latin alongside pieces in Xhosa and Haitian, this concert will lead you through the wideness and wonder of belief.
