Veterans Day Concert

Presented by Saint Cloud State University School of the Arts at SCSU - Ritsche Auditorium - Stewart Hall

The St. Cloud State Wind Ensemble and Men’s Chorus will perform a Veterans Day Concert for the central Minnesota community entitled Celebrate America! on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 4 PM in Stewart Hall’s Ritsche Auditorium on SCSU campus.

This concert features patriotic music for wind band and men’s chorus including combined works spanning the Revolutionary war area through Vietnam. The program includes several patriotic classics and veterans will be recognized with an Armed Forces medley. This program was developed in partnership with the Veterans Resource Center at SCSU.

Marion Judish, violin

This event is free and appropriate for audiences of all ages and follows the 1PM Veterans Day Parade downtown St. Cloud on St. Germain.

The St. Cloud State Wind Ensemble is a select group of 40 performers, mostly SCSU music majors led by conductor Catharine Bushman. The St. Cloud State Men’s Chorus is an ensemble of 20 members led by conductor Hugh Givens.

Concert parking is available in the 4thAvenue Parking Ramp at 4thAve and 6thStreet on the SCSU campus. Accessible parking is available close to the auditorium if you enter off 6thStreet or behind Stewart Hall entering from 8thStreet.
