Tournées Film Festival - "Kinshasa Makambo"

Presented by CSBSJU Department of Languages & Cultures and the Department of Peace Studies at SJU - Little Theater, Quadrangle Building 346

The Tournées Film Festival at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University is screening the film “Kinshasa Makambo” on Tuesday, February 4th at 7:00 pm in the Little Theater, Quad 346 (SJU). This documentary film tells the story of people fighting for social and political change in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, highlighting the stories of three members of the resistance. This event is sponsored by the CSBSJU Department of Languages and Cultures and the Department of Peace Studies. There will be an introduction made by Dr. Kelly Kraemer, a professor of Peace Studies at CSBSJU. There will also be a discussion following the film.
