The 2020 Tournées Film Festival at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University is screening the film “Return of the Hero” in Gorecki 204 (CSB) at 7:00 pm! Set in France in 1809, Captain Neville is set to marry Pauline when war breaks out, leaving her heartbroken. So, Pauline’s sister writes letters on his behalf’s to keep her positive, but difficulties arise when Neville returns home. This event is sponsored by the French and German sections of the CSBSJU Department of Languages and Cultures. An introduction will be made by Austrian Fulbright Teaching Assistant Matthias Milchrahm, and there will be a discussion following the film.
Free admission and English subtitles will be provided!
