We can’t get together in a physical space for a while, so we’re supporting a series of on-line concerts with Granite City Folk Society’s virtual concert season!
Josh Cleveland’s multi-textured voice delivers stories. Whether those stories come from his original compositions or from reinterpreted covers, they are told in a new way. He asks, “What songs seem to stick with you?” Then answers his own question, “There are lots of reasons that they do. Sometimes it’s the lyrics, the instrumentation, the memories they conjure. Other times it’s the context that we attach to them. I think it’s the latter that can give these songs new life at any given moment.”

Welcome to Granite City Folk Society’s virtual concert season! Our artists will be performing via streaming services, some from their own homes–a new kind of close-up music, even if we’re all over the continent. Streaming platforms will vary, so note the links for the individual events.
There is no ticketing for these performances, but the artists will be operating their own virtual tip jars. Be generous–we’re all running on fumes these days.
All shows are on Thursdays at 7:30 to 8:30 PM CST.
To see this concert, go to either Josh’s or GCFS’s Facebook link at 7:30.
