We can’t get together in a physical space for a while, so we’re supporting a series of on-line concerts with Granite City Folk Society’s virtual concert season!
Old-time music lives! Nathan Neuman started out playing bluegrass guitar but turned to the concertina as a teenager and soon was fronting his own polka band. He plays just about anything with a bellows and buttons and offers “a wide variety of old sing-a-longs, ethnic folk songs (in German, Polish, Swedish, Czech, Croatian, and Ukrainian), classic country, 50’s/60’s, novelties, and originals.” Sounds like something for everybody.
Chuck Suchy, Jack Klatt & The Cat Swingers, Mill Creek Irish, Radoslav Lorkovic, and now Nathan–how many folk-music series offer so many squeezebox players?

Welcome to Granite City Folk Society’s virtual concert season! Our artists will be performing via streaming services, some from their own homes–a new kind of close-up music, even if we’re all over the continent. Streaming platforms will vary, so note the links for the individual events.
There is no ticketing for these performances, but the artists will be operating their own virtual tip jars. Be generous–we’re all running on fumes these days.
All shows are on Thursdays at 7:30 to 8:30 PM CST.
To see this concert, go to Nathan’s link at 7:30.
To be provided later.
