Paul Imholte - The Lost Forty

Paul Imholte - The Lost Forty

Presented by Granite City Folk Society at Online/Virtual Space

Everybody has been in the Pandemic Woodshed for more than a year now, including multi-instrumenalist/composer Paul Imholte, and one result is “The Lost Forty,” a three-CD album of original songs, various instrumentals, and hammered dulcimer solos. Paul recruited over a dozen musicians to record with him for this project, and three of them will join him for the release concert: Cristina Seaborn, Emma Nistler, and DynoRock.

“Paul is accomplished on any instrument that boasts a set of strings: dulcimer, fiddle, cello, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and likely some I haven’t even heard of.”
–Mark Munger, Cloquet River Press

“Beautiful playing on the hammered dulcimer from Paul Imholte that sounds like a mountain burn in springtime–absolutely excellent stuff.” –John Davy, No Depression

“Paul Imholte. . . can play just about any stringed instrument imaginable.”
–Duluth News-Tribune
